Gary Klugiewicz —  Director at Verbal Defense and Influence and the Vistelar Group

Gary is a nationally recognized police trainer, retired Captain at the Milwaukee Country Sheriff’s Department, co- developer of the Manage Bullying program. Gary has over 20 years of professional training experience and a deep understanding of the principles of Verbal Defense & Influence.

Gary graduated from UW – La Crosse with a degree in Sociology, has an associate degree in Police Science from MATC, and is a graduate of the National FBI Academy.

Chan Lee — Owner of JK Lee Black Belt Academy

Chan owns a Milwaukee martial arts school with five locations and over 1500 students. He is a certified instructor in Verbal Defense & Influence and co-developer of the Manage Bullying program. Chan has over 20 years of experience working with children and teens and was selected by MTV to be a celebrity coaches for the MADE TV program.

Chan graduated from UW – Madison with a degree in Marketing and, since then, has taken many courses to increase the value he can bring to his students (e.g., Tony Robbins – Awaken the Giant Within; Brian Tracy – Life Mastery; Tom Callos – Ultimate Black Belt Test; Fox Point Police – Safe Kids Program; Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Keeping Kids Safe Program)

Allen Oelschlaeger — Director at the Vistelar Group, Professor at University of Wisconsin – Whitewater

Allen has over 30 years of executive experience in large corporations (Eli Lilly), mid-sized companies, and start-up businesses. His specific expertise is in innovation, strategic planning and marketing.

Allen graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Pharmacy and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chuck Zamora — Founder of Zamora Group International and director at the Vistelar Group

After more than a decade as a elementary school teacher and several years in the corporate world, Chuck formed a global training organization in 1984 to share his expertise in sales, customer service and personal development.

One of his training programs, Tools Of Life, has been delivered to over 89,000 high school students.

Chuck spent most of his career in Australia and returned to the United States in 2005.

Dave Young – Founder of Arma Training and director at the Vistelar Group

Dave is the founder of a global training organization focused on real-world defensive tactics for public safety professionals (police, corrections, security, EMS, military).

Dave’s background includes being a corrections and law enforcement officer, an investigator, Special Reaction Team (SRT) member and commander in the United States Marine Corps, host of a TV series for National Geographic (2005 to 2008) titled, Crash Test Human, and over 30 years of training experience.

Kathy Mangold — Professional writer serving all members of the Vistelar Group

Kathy Mangold is a past Editor of Metro Parent Magazine, certified instructor in Verbal Defense & Influence, editor of the Fundamental of Human Interaction blog, and developer of the college-credentialed Verbal Self Defense program. She has broad personal and professional experience with parenting and child-development issues and great expertise in writing and curriculum development.

Kathy graduated from Marquette University, College of Journalism, with degrees in Journalism and German.

Kati Tillema – Director of operations for the Vistelar Group

Prior to Vistelar, Kati provided legal assistance to low-income clients in Green Bay, WI and worked in the inner city of Milwaukee to combat criminal activity. She has used her legal expertise extensively within various community service organizations.

Kati earned her J.D. from Marquette University Law School and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
