Former Packer Announces Partnership To Counter Bullying
March 10, 2014 Milwaukee, Wis. – Packers Hall of Famer Gilbert Brown will share with students and faculty the details of a partnership with the Vistelar Group to develop a new anti-bullying program.
The Vistelar Group has worked with tens of thousands of kids over the past four years providing them with anti-bullying strategies. Brown is also an anti-bully advocate who has his own comic book dealing with bullying.
“Yes, even I was bullied as a kid,” says Brown. “And it breaks my heart to see that kids aren’t getting better help than the same tired old advice like ‘ignore it’. We have to step up and make a difference.”
Details of the new initiative will be made public at 10 AM at St. Marcus Lutheran School, 2215 N Palmer St, Milwaukee, WI 53212 on Tuesday, March 11th. Press is welcome. Details about the new anti-bullying program can be found at http://managebullying.com.
After the announcement, local martial arts school owner and bully-proofing expert Master Chan Lee will present students with ways to avoid becoming the target of bullies and how to effectively counter bullying incidents so they don’t reoccur.
The Vistelar Group is a speaking and training organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that is dedicated to addressing the spectrum of human conflict in personal and professional interactions. http://vistelar.com.
